Kirsten IvanyRegistered Clinical Counsellor MACP, RCC

Kirsten is a Registered Clinical Counsellor joining the Tipping Point Team, passionate about supporting individuals in healing from past trauma, grief, and loss. She believes that trauma often requires a clearing space to make room for therapeutic work to begin. She will help you address issues related to anxiety, fear, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. With deep respect for the diversity of human experience, Kirsten offers an affirming space, welcoming all clients to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Kirsten’s approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She believes that each individual carries the wisdom of their own story, and she is committed to walking alongside clients as they move toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and empowerment. Her work integrates somatic awareness, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care.

Kirsten brings unique insight from her experience working in the aviation industry, and she understands the particular pressures faced by those in high-stress and high-responsibility environments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from McGill University and completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. She continues her studies in EMDR.

Kirsten is inspired by the strength of the human spirit and the universal need for connection and belonging. She would be honoured to support you in your journey toward healing and growth, one step at a time.
